Optimalisasi Efisiensi Pengelolaan Data Keuangan melalui Sistem Informasi Akuntansi: Studi Kasus pada Sektor Perhotelan di Jakarta

Abstract

The use of information systems in accounting data management has become a crucial necessity for service companies, especially in the hospitality sector, which has a high volume of transactions. This study aims to analyse the use of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) and their benefits for financial recording and reporting processes at the Midtown Residence Hotel in Jakarta. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews with the finance department, and literature studies to support descriptive analysis. The results showed that the implementation of AIS at Hotel Midtown Residence Jakarta significantly improved the efficiency of transaction recording processes, minimised human error, and accelerated the preparation of financial reports. In addition, this system supports structured data storage, making it easier for management to access accurate information for strategic decision-making. This study concludes that the use of information systems contributes positively to the effectiveness and quality of corporate financial management
