The digital era has transformed adolescent social interactions while simultaneously triggering an increase in cyberbullying cases that seriously impact mental health. This meta-analysis aims to compare the effectiveness of three counseling guidance strategies—classical guidance based on digital literacy, group counseling with modeling techniques, and peer counseling—in reducing cyberbullying behavior and increasing digital empathy among adolescents. This quantitative research employed a meta-analysis design, integrating 12 experimental studies from accredited national journals (SINTA 2-4) published between 2022-2025 (n=1,847) and secondary data from KemenPPPA (n=3,221) and KPAI (2023-2024) reports. Data analysis used descriptive percentage statistics and the Kruskal-Wallis test. The findings reveal that cyberbullying prevalence among Indonesian adolescents reaches 45.3%, dominated by harassment (50.3%) and flaming (50.2%) through Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp platforms. Group counseling with modeling techniques demonstrated the highest effectiveness in reducing cyberbullying behavior (42% reduction, Cohen's d=3.78, p<0.01), followed by peer counseling (36%, d=2.72, p<0.01) and classical guidance (25%, d=2.01, p<0.05). All interventions significantly increased digital empathy (average 58% increase) and decreased symptoms of social anxiety (45%) and depression (39%) among victims. The study concludes that integrating responsive counseling guidance strategies, particularly group counseling with modeling techniques and peer counselor empowerment, proves effective in reducing cyberbullying rates and restoring adolescent psychosocial well-being.
